Detailed fitting instructions including diagrams and templates are provided with each Flettner TCX-2™ ventilator.
Please note that the rib patterns on the roofs of the Ford Connect van and the Volkswagen T5 van are such that the fitting of a Flettner ventilator should only be undertaken by a specialist fitter.

We further recommend that the TCX-2 should not be fitted to smaller (car-derived) vans or to the Vauxhall/Opel Vivaro / Renault Trafic / Nissan Primastar range of vans. These vehicles should be fitted with the Flettner 2000 ventilator.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE:
It is the responsibility of the fitter and the customer to establish the amount of air extraction that is required for each application, and to ensure that the positioning and the number of ventilators fitted are suitable.
The performance of the Flettner TCX-2™ will be impaired if it is fitted to a sealed vehicle compartment or to a building with no independent air inlet. In such circumstances an air inlet such as a grille should be fitted in addition to the Flettner TCX-2™ in order to provide an adequate path for air extraction to occur.
